In April 2020, I was invited to participate in Theatre is the Cure, an online monologue presentation. I was given 24 hours to write a monologue that incorporated three elements: a prison, painting, and the line "Maybe I'll bake it next time."
In the summer of 2019, I wrote and directed a short film called "The Direction." I felt honored enough that the film was selected for inclusion in the 2020 Austin Micro Short Film Festival. That it's up for best drama film is icing on the cake.
My 10-minute play If You Go Out will have a staged reading at Cold Comfort Theater in Belfast, Maine. Originally scheduled for May 22 and 23, 2020, the reading will take place when it is safe to do so.
I am delighted that my original one-hour crime drama pilot "Dead Name" was selected as the grand prize winner of this competition. My lead character is one that I would love to see in homes across the country on a weekly basis.
Imagine That was recognized for Distinguished Achievement by the Harold and Mimi Steinberg National Student Playwriting Awards.
My full-length play Imagine That was selected as one of 10 semi-finalists from a field of 655 submissions in the 2018 Austin Film Festival.
